I am beginning to think when a chinese mantis is on its last molt it will go on a fasting binge or maybe its a hunger strike until its final molt is complete and that may take a few weeks I think but I could be wrong and anyone else agree on this or got their own observations on the last molt?

The longest i have ever whitnessed a chinese mantis not eating prior to a moult was about a week. Keep in mind just because a mantis is not eating does not always mean it's about to moult. They will reject or swatt away food if they are full.
