I have some bean beetle cultures I bought for frogs., Will any of the mantis like them? I didn't see any mention of these.

Ya, go ahead and try! They might like beetle larvae I guess.

One of my mantids just ate some last night. They seem to be a good feeder when your hydei flies abandon you.

You never see the larvae. They are a weevil that destroys crops. There are controlled in some states. You just put adult and some old beans with new culture. The preferred food is black-eyed peas. The adults live like two weeks and only lay eggs. They never drink or eat. I just put four bugs with my African Giant. They are gone now
