female chinese mantid

Found a female chinese mantid, I believe. She is very large and healthy looking, but her abdomen looks like it has 'blown' out at the right lateral abdomen. I attached some photos to show this. It has hardened and she is still functioning, just clumsy. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, man. She must have taken a fall while gravid and split the abdomen. I doubt she will be able to lay any more but she should still make a good pet. Would be very nice of you to care for her.
