First adult male

Have my first ghost male molt to adult last night how long till able to breed I know they only live about a month dont they?

I know male mantises live an abbreviated lifespan but I didnt know ghost males live only a month, im assumin they live long than tha....but for most males, two-three weeks after their final molt is when they can be ready to breed

maybe I'm wrong about the month but it is what I thought I was told *shruggin*

Most of my male ghosts lived a but Longer than that, but I did have 1 drop dead after only a month. I had a couple of males living in a communal tank with females and 1 of them surprised me by connecting to a female on his own after only a week.

Males are ready to breed faster than females so 2 weeks tops. Varies with the male. Some show interest earlier.

Many of these smaller species are a lot quicker to reach sexual readiness compared to some of the other males of larger species that need up to 3 weeks after final moult.

I had a male Ghost that lived just over two months after his final molt. I've had the males mate as early as 10 days after the final molt.
