agent A was nice enough to send me two ghost oothecae (I believe they're both ghosts at least). The first has hatched two days ago and it appears as if only eight have come out. According to him his usually produce more than eight, so should I leave it, or should I try and open it up a bit? I have read some will hatch out a day later, but is two days a bad sign? As far as this experience goes... wow I did not realize they would be as big as they are and I definitely did not realize they would be able to jump so well! Had a near escape of one when I had to open the container because the ooth fell. Fortunately I spotted it on my bed. I may try feeding them today, as I've read they eat after 48 hours. Is that correct?

I would leave it to see if more hatch. Yes you can feed them small fflys. Good luck with your new babies.

I made sure to mist them pretty much every day. May have missed one or two, but always made sure the paper towel was damp and mold free. The nymphs that did come out seem healthy and were very active. Looks like they only came out of one spot though.

they r all ghosts, make sure u mist the L1s daily but afterward they dont need as frequent misting

they grow rather fast until L4 so be sure to have hf on hand for L2 nymphs ;)
