Fixing a Butterflies Wing

I have a monarch that emerged with folded wings.... I have read about trimming them exactly, how can I help it fly

You can't. It sounds as though you are letting yr butterflies emerge in a tightly enclosed or overly dry space. Once the wings have dried, they can't be changed.

NO WAY, If anything they have too much room. :stuart: Its a seven gallon tall terrarium, and I had a couple other butterflies in there that were flying so one might have knocked one down...... I have fourty of them and they are all on the lid

It happens all the time, in captivity and in the wild. So many factors can cause that defective end.

Just don't be so hard on your self.
