Flower Fly

Spotted this guy in the back yard and snapped these before the sun set...

I caught one of those a few weeks back and feed it to my mantis(as I was low on flies at the time), but I didn't know what the heck it was, I thought it was some strange baby bee.

I like it too. Like some alien yellow world. All the light reflected off the yellow flower it was feeding on.

I'll have to take some more. They seem to really like feeding on that particular plant.
