Im using and always have used Rob Byatts way, keep the male in a breedin set up with twigs and what not, then introduce the female a few inches in front of him and giver her a massive prey item so shes less inclined to kill `im, hes just completly not interested, i doubt hes as old as his seller said he was <_<

Well evidently if he's not interested and not ready, and if the seller claims he's a certain age, just wait longer. Patience is a virtue! ;)

However long you want. There is no set time. I personally don't use that method. I put the male down and give him a few minutes to calm down and then I have her walk by him.
