Its about 2 inch - 2 inch 1/2. Body is slender. Most likely a male. No spots on forelimbs.

+1Male Stagmomantis sp. Maybe someone will know the exact species, but that's my shot at it!
+1 the white stripe kind of gives it away.Looks like an Iris oratoria male to me.
Does yours have a white/orange spot on the 2nd to last abd segment?It kind of looks like my male Stagmomantis limbatas. But my males are just about 2 inches and very slender. I've been finding mine in Prescott, AZ. I'm no expert but probably everyone is right when they say it could be Iris oratoria, they are the experts, not me.

No, my males don't have that spot. I guess the Iris oratoria species have it. If your Mantis has that spot, then it should be Iris oratoria for sure.Does yours have a white/orange spot on the 2nd to last abd segment?
