Hi everybody and merry christmas
i must travel four days and leave my mantids .
ive got the chance of leaving them with one friend of mine but im not quite sure that i can trust him 100% as hes no idea about mantids.
So im thinking about taking the risk of leaving them in my flat. The temperature is not going to be a problem as the heater is constantly on and keeps the right temperature all the time. About food, i think that dropping some extra will be enough. My only concern is about humidity.
Im thinking about filling the bottom of the containers with wet coconut fibre and leave a small plastic thing with water.
the problems are: first that im no sure if the mantids are going to drink any as theres no going to be water in the container walls.
second, i dont know how long is going to last the humidity in the coconut fibre and in the plastic lid as the heater is going to be on.
Any idead be really apreciated, thanks a lot
