Hey guys. I was at the petstore on sunday and I saw a little container with a wee mantis in it. It was 12 dollars and I said what the heck and bought it. The honest reason I made this account is to learn about mantises and try to keep mine healthy. ( This one grows to about 3 inches I believe )

It's brown/tan and I've been worried as he's not eating his crickets and hasn't eaten any yet. I decided to put him in a bigger more furnished enclosure. Anyways, expect my concerns in the forum , I'm going to try and get this guy to eat!

Welcome, if he's still not eating break the cricket in half and put the wet guts up to his mouth with tweezers or what ever you have,this should work to get him started.
