OGIGA
Dead Leaf Mantis
Hello everybody. I'm trying something new. If you end up unsatisfied, I'm sorry. I will continue to modify and revise my model until I find some kind of optimal point.
Here's my plan: I bought blue bottle fly larvae from Grubco (recommended from this forum) for my mantises and I am selling off the excess as cheap as can be. I will do everything I know to keep the quality reasonable but spend as little as possible on things other than the actual larvae. Therefore, low-budget mantis keepers can buy small quantities without wasting the rest. The only catch, however, is that I do not guarantee anything (DOA, pupated/eclosed, shipment arrival time, larvae/pupae count, ability to ship to your address, etc). I'm selling as-is but included are photographs of what you can expect.
I'm only doing this because I hate wasting all the feeders that I don't use. But I do really hope that everybody who buys will be satisfied! I am not expecting to make profits. When writing feedback, PLEASE include the purchase date, receive date, the "model number" (this one is G703), and a link to this page. Your opinion on how this can be improved will be VERY helpful for the future "models."
I will use USPS First Class Mail (2-5 days) to ship. I'm only offering this to the USA because shipping within the USA is reasonably cheap. And yes, the package is trackable via USPS.
$3.27 shipped! Blue bottle fly larvae that I received from Grubco on March 30, 2007. They have been in the refrigerator since then.
I counted ~38 larvae/pupae in the bag that was photographed. The photographs is just a sample. I'll say each bag has roughly 35 plus or minus 10. The earlier you get them, the better the quality!
I only take PayPal right now. Please PM me if you want to get in on this.
