I mated the ghost pair on the 24th and there is still no ooths. Is there signs of when an ooth is about to be laid? The ghosts are 1 month old at least. Should it have been laid already?

You may need to put the male in with her again. My gravid ghosts have a huge appetite and will wave their abdomens around in circles when they are "thinking" about laying oothecae. It's an odd behavior if you haven't seen it before. I've only noticed it with well fed, gravid females.

Remember, this is a very long lived species - you are worrying too much ;)

Mating has nothing to with when they mate. When she gets VERY fat you will know the time is near. Like Peter said I have often seen the female bending her abdomen towards a surface and "testing" it a day or two before she makes her ooth.
