I had one of my subadult male Ghosts molt to adult, but he can't seem to fold his wings to put them away.

I found him yesterday evening hanging from the lid seemingly inflating his wings. Later in the evening he was still inflating and I let him be. However, this morning he still has not folded and put away his wings. It looks like they are crumpled and will not fold

I don't know if there is anything I can do to help this issue. He seems fine otherwise. I Fed him some honey water and he drank it a bit.

Will he be okay with his wings like this? Is there anything I can do to aid him in folding his wings?

I'm sorry about that! It looks like he slightly mismolted. There is no way to fix this other than clipping the wings which puts the mantis at risk of losing blood and infection. It shouldn't hinder him too much, and he should still be able to mate and such.

Thanks @MantisGirl13 He seems fine other than the wings, so I will likely just let them be how they are. As long as he can move and eat, which I think he should be able to do, then I don't see the need to cause him any more pain.

I may move him to a larger enclosure, just to ensure he has enough room for his massive cape, lol

The same thing happened to one of my thistles.

The wings will stay like that permanently but don't worry they can still live a fairly normal life. He's fine otherwise. Like you I had to move him to a bigger enclosure to accommodate his new stature.
