ghost molt help

my male ghost looks like he is not going to be able to make it through the molt. is there a way to get him out of the exoskeleton by hand? he has been this way for way too long. i know he can't do it by himself.....has anyone successfully done a" moltectomy"?

I've done it it mid mismolt, but they have always had at least one malformed limb. I used a thin/soft paintbrush dipped in warm water to lightly brush the skin off.

Wait until the molt starts and use a thin toothpick to separate the skin off him

I think he'll be fine
