Ghost "wing mismolt"?

Hi, everyone

as I mentioned in the post before this one, my male ghost mantis just molted into an adult. The molt went well, but while his wings were expanding, the front wings just stopped growing halfway down his abdomen! The hind wings went on and finished, but the front wings are still crumpled and small! Has this ever happened to anyone? The front wings stopped expanding when he started crawling around, if that helps. Does anyone know what happened?!?!

It happened to my budwing, but when she molted she broke a vessel and had 'blood' leaking into one of her wings so i figured that is why the wings didn't expand.

She is still alive and well after a few months and i guess it's not a huge deal for a budwing female because they can only use theirs for threat posing anyway.

I've never had mismolted wings hurt a mantis. He should be ok.
