I am having a huge problem with my Giant Shield right now. 1 female molted to adult on 8/20. Yesterday, my L7 was lying on the floor (i tried to bring her up onto her branch) , she was like a eating machine before, she stop eating and the wing started to swell, I transfer her to a bigger net cage. with branches, assuming she will molt in 1-2 days. Today, she ended up dead. While handling her I found that she seems like she is having a seizure. Uncontrolled leg movement and weak. I am not sure if this is something I should be worrying about, since my L5 male died too with similar symptom.....weakening. The rest are still strong and healthy. The food items include blue bottle (loaded with honey/pollen), phoenix worm, roaches and cricket. Anyone hae any idea whats wrong??

There was some seizure things mentioned before, but they were with the leaf and flower mantids. The only thing offered as a solution was that the seizure was caused by neurotoxin...

Never heard of this seizure before. Is the seizure just a symptom or is it what caused the mantid to die? I need more info about this.

Nobody knows what causes mantis health issues. We all get em from time to time.
