I work for the SS Lane Victory in San Pedro and we are having a cruise to welcome the USS Iowa to her new home in San Pedro. I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow. It should be a nice day at sea and an excellent way to witness such a vessel. It is not under it's own power, but will be towed by the Crowley tug "Warrior" by a tow line. Bon Voyage! :sailor:

Oh, the waters of the Pacific. That's some good stuff. I'll see if I can get a few. Do you mind if there's anything else in them, or just water?

I got some photos.

This is Angel's Gate Lighthouse at the breakwater:

This is Pat, a volunteer, in the museum gift shop area. I love her.

There's more...

Here's a fireboat. It's amazing how much water they can hold on such a little boat.

I like this one of the flag on our ship. The camera focused on the steel wire of the boom instead of the flag. I would title it "The Ties That Bind". Symbolizing the pride in America that binds us together in strength. Would have been perfect for Memorial Day. Maybe next year.
