Hi folks,
I'm moving on to some new species, so I've got some odds and ends that need new homes: first is a fresh Gonatista grisea ootheca laid last week by a fresh adult female whom I mated twice to a fresh adult male; both times, they were connected overnight, so unless the male is sterile (and that is extremely unlikely), this ooth should have a nice hatch. Besides that, I have a fresh adult female Theopompa servillei, also known as the spectacular-looking Malaysian Bark Mantis, and a pre-presub/presub (probable male) Thesprotiella cf. peruana, which is lovely little Peruvian Thespidae family mantis. I hate to give up specimens belonging to species that are as rare (at least for the U.S. hobby) as these are (for example, the Thesprotiella may be the only one of it's kind in the entire country), but I don't have a mate for either one, so I am hoping to find someone here who would like to experience them. And last but not least, I have an extra adult male (final molt was 1.5 months ago) Pseudoempusa pinnapovinis (Peacock Mantis) who is ready to pair up with a female ASAP.
I would prefer to trade these items, ideally for an egg case or some juvenile specimens belonging to an out-of-the-ordinary mantis or other invert species (I am open to all kinds of bugs, except for tarantulas and scorpions, so please let me know what you have). However, if you have a male Theopompa, a female Pseudoempusa, or Thesprotiella of any sex, please get in touch and I will be more than happy to work out a very generous breeding loan arrangement with you. Finally, if I don't receive any interesting trade propositions, I will consider selling my ooth/creatures, so please feel free to PM me with cash offers as well, as I am likely to give you a nice deal.
Thanks for looking!
