Yetserday night my little sister accidently tipped over 1 of my Gongy containers, and today I noticed a small amount of dried black/green liquid at the beginning of the females abdomen (where the legs meet). I'm sure this is "Mantis blood" but I'm just concerned, is there any precautions I should be taking with this nymph? She seems to be doing just fine, walking, climbing, enjoying the heat, just like the others. I'm just concerned and would hate to lose her. Perhaps this will heal with the upcomming molt? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

E.

If she makes it to the next molt (and THROUGH the next molt), she'll be fine...otherwise, well, you know what that eventuality would be. :(

We'll hope & pray for her on our end! Good luck! (I've dropped WAY too many deli cups...usually from trying to carry too many at once...but I haven't lost one from it yet!)

Thanks :) Hopefully she does make it, so far she's still doing fine, no signs of injury unless you take a good look at the spot. On a side note she hasnt molted in quite a while so her next molt should be comming very soon, and im thinking the sooner, the better. As far as dropping the deli cups, I think what did it was the wood chips I use as substrate since the container fell upside down and they fell on top of her, not much but with her being "fat" from eating, I think that did it. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
