Wow the size difference doesn't look like much, at least in this shot. Wonder whether that will put the male in greater danger (because his head is closer to the female's) or less danger (cuz he's too large to be perceived as a convenient meal)

They are very pacific and barely attack each others.But males are clearly weaker than females and sometimes can get eaten.

This empusa is the most communal ever.If they are well fed you can keep a whole tribe of adults inside the same terra.
