Greetings from Ohio!

Hello everyone, my name is Katherine, I live near the Lake Erie area in northern Ohio.

I've always loved animals, right now my family includes a labrador/something adorable Dog named Piper, Lisa the barn kitty and Fire Butt a grumpy male red rump tarantula. I've also kept hissing cockroaches, king snakes, black empire scorpions and an assortment of small fuzzy mammals.

Insects have always fascinated me and I've been doing my research before I get my first mantises (I want a couple, because I know I'm going to attempt breeding, these nymphs are just too cute!). I'm very excited I found this forum, as I just can't stop reading about the different species and their care. Thank you for reading my little intro!

Everything it seems has nearly been asked before, but finding the posts can sometimes be near impossible even with the right search terms.
