Hey guys. I've seen a lot of pictures on here of mantids who rubbed their head on walls and went blind from infection, or a mismolt, and each time those eyes have been black. Well one of my griffins (Who I've determined is actually male, not female like I thought) seems to have gone blind, and I have a picture here of his WHITE eyes. I don't think its complete blindness, he still sees some things, and can climb around alright, but he's certainly very hesitant about stepping anywhere and sometimes lets food get away as if he didnt see it leaving.

Was wondering if anyone knew how this could happen instead of the black eye blind. I had him/her in the playground for a day and a half so he/she had plenty of room to molt while I found another container for an enclosure. When I saw he was like this I took him out and put him back into his 32 oz though.

Hard to say? If it can still see enough to catch food? Then i would not worry to much. I may heal itself in the next molt?
