Grizzled Mantids (Gonatista grisea)

I am starting to get these fairly commonly again. At this point, they are First- to Third Instar. I also have multiple other Florida-native mantid species to choose from, but the Grizzleds always seem to be the most popular. (If you want to view some of the other mantid species, click on my website below).

Grizzled Mantids are also called "Bark Mantids," and are extremely fast and extremely hard to see in the field. They tend to be found high-up on tree trunks and mimic the lichen found on many Florida trees.

Email me at [email protected] if interested.

Thank you,

Jack

Thank you to those who have inquired, by email and PM :)

I am sorry I did not make my price clear on this post (although all of my prices can be viewed on my website). Typically, I sell most of my Florida wild-caught mantids for $10 each, but the Grizzleds are more popular (and harder to find), so I get $30 for each one of them. (I do not and will not sell oothecae!)

At this point in time, I have 4 young specimens, again at $30 each. Typically, most of the juveniles grow up to be males, but of course the more a person gets the greater the odds of a breedable pair.

If a person wants to get all 4 of these mantids, I will let the lot of them go for $100 shipped. Otherwise, they are $30 each, plus shipping.

Thank you & hope this clarifies,

Jack
