mine hatched back at the end of March and the rest during April. Only one hatched in May for me

I hatch them every year to put outside. I am starting to finally see a population starting. This is the first year I have collected a wild ooth in my yard, so I brought it inside last fall. Good thing I did, my neighbor cut the grasses down where I collected it so now , very soon, I will put nice, sturdy L4's outside. Good luck with your hatch! What are you going to do with all those nymphs?

Nice, but why did you buy five?! If each hatches 300 babies, that's 1500 babies to take care of!

You live back east, I live in Arizona. Will that species, if I were to hatch some of them here and release them outside, be able to survive the weather conditions here? I.e. It is a lot hotter here in the summer and much milder here in the winter. Or is that species more native to the eastern part of the U.S.?
