Hahah. Ok ok maybe I did show off a little. :D I think thats all I have for now. I am more focus on heteros and orchids now. :)

Really outstanding work!

I've had them all, except the A. falcata, which I THINK I had, but gave away before it hit adult. I think.

I think many people would be (or now ARE) surprised at how huge the Dead Leaf mantids get.

Again, great job!

 
Nice! Most daring group shot so far.

Now lets try for pics of mantids riding other species. :D I'll get on that today, but first I'm taking out an insurace policy against "accidental" death.

Hahaha. I was going to do that. Stack mantis on top of one another, but the dessicata keeps flaring ;(

 
I had a day (not on camera) where this tiny adult boxer was marching around my sub-adult Idolo cage, stopping every few minutes to do a full-on threat pose at one (or all of them). All these GIGANTIC Idolos were looking (waaaaay) down at her with the funniest "seriously, kid?" kind of look. Comedy gold.

No, they didn't eat her. And she eventually calmed down.
