hasten hatching?

I've got a small ooth i collected last november. I have set up a very rudimentary 10-gal. aquarium (soon to be terrarium), keeping the light on 24/7 and keeping the humidity moderate. All in the hopes of hastening these little critters.

Am I doing this in vain? Is there even a way to get them to hatch 'early'. or at least 'on time'?
