Have a new tarantula coming. I finally settled on a Venezuelan Suntiger (Psalmopeus irminia). It's a 3/4"-1" sling, so it has a way to go. I got just one for the time being. As soon as I figure out what sex it is, I'll purchase its mate. ;) I'll make sure to post pics when it comes. :)

For those of you who dont know what they look like here you go:

And here's a vid on the 'tube:

Should have it Tuesday, cant wait.

Gee, AB... I'm glad for you! ;) I'm just glad it's not on its way to my house, lol! It looks like a double/Siamese, hairy, Halloween skeleton hand!

Very nice choice :) A buddy of mine has some of these, and I can assure you won't be dissapointed in these beauties. Congrats on the new addition :) .

i would pay not to have one as a pet.they're so scary :(
O.K. Becky. I have a HUGE tarntula (rosey kneed, purple assed, I can't remember for sure) in a box adressed to The Becky L (the one who loves mantids) Manchester, England. On the customs form I have written, "This is just a fake tarrantula; are you sure you want to check? and on the lid I have written, "Handle with care! This bugger can bite through cardboard," so I think that they'll treat it well.

So how much is it worth to you for me not to mail it? Ten quid? More?

Please let me know soon, as I shall be going to the Post Office tomorrow afternoon.
