My name is Marc, I am an IT professional living in Ohio 50 miles west of Columbus. I have been interested in the Praying Mantis since the 3rd grade when a fellow classmate brought in a pair at the begining of the school year in which we got to witeness the complete life cycle. I happen to revisit this interest last year when I had the opportunity to caputure a male and kept him on my desk at work before letting him go in the fall. This year is my first atempt at raising mantids from an eggsack. I started out with over a hundred and have three left. I have never been very successful at finding an egg sack so I orderd one online www.carolina.com . I am not sure what species the ones I have are but they look very much lik common Chinese mantids. Other hobbies include Star Gazing, Photography, Golf, and Bicycling.
