Kyle here. Just beginning my dive into these wonderful creatures. Currently have a Chinese egg case I'm trying to hatch. If all goes well with them I hope to get a couple Ghost or Violin. I love the way they look. Decided to upgrade to mantids after starting an ant farm a few weeks ago and I came to this site after finding bugsincyperspace.com. I hope to get more involved and maybe do some buying/trading/selling in the future. So a bit about me.... I'm 21 living in Ohio with my girlfriend, 2 cats, ball python, and of course the ants and hopefully soon mantids. Also have a velvet ant on the way. I'm very excited about all these new things and hope to add to my collection soon

Welcome to the community. I remember when I first moved to the south I saw a velvet ant in the wild. Being the life long bug nut that I am and also naturaly curious I bent over to get a closer look. I had no idea what it was at the time and was tempted to pick it up. Im glad I took the bright red to be a warning and didnt grab it!
