Greetings from the Mitten! I would like to thank the people that have responded to my posts these last few months. My Marty (Chinese) died the other day at the age of 6 months after 4 molts. I was waiting for him to become an adult before releasing him into my organic garden. I even learned to raise fruit fly colonies for him to eat. Losing him was very sad and made me feel helpless. I don't know if I will get another. (Marty and his 200+ siblings came to me in their sac on a poinsettia plant I got for Christmas). They "hatched" on January 10th.

Best wishes to everyone!

Good bye mstng82. Where are you located? Chinese Mantids might be common in your area.
