Hello everyone! I'm new here and still figuring things out. I'm from Southern California and I've like mantises ever since I've seen pictures of the Orchid mantis. Hopefully I'll learn enough to eventually keep them as I have never kept mantises before and I don't really see them at the pet stores here. I stumbled across this forum while surfing around looking for more information on mantises. Other pets that I've kept are Bettas a pet hamster. :lol: I'll be looking forward to learning much here.

Welcome! I used to breed Bettas about 9 years ago with my ex. They're so awesome! And don't let all the hype about orchids scare you. They are awesome, spunky, and great eaters! Probably my favorites of my collection!
