Hello from CT

Hi everyone, my name is Jacob and I'm from Guilford, Connecticut. Recently, I've been very interested in my friend Taylor's (axolotlsarecooltoo) mantid collection. He gave me a pair of baby axolotls when he got his first eggs a few years ago and i've had a lot of fun keeping them (i'll include pics), but now i am ready to expand my collection to include mantids. Taylor is giving me a few ghost mantids when his ooths hatch, but I was also thinking about ordering a couple nymphs online too. Any suggestions for a large or fairly large beginner mantid?

Also, I saw this one at the farm i work at in early October, was wondering if anyone knew what species?

The mantis looks like a female Tenodera sinensis.
