Hi everyone, I am new

Just started getting interested in mantids, always loved them as a kid.

I also have a mex. red knee tarantula and hve 36 venus fly trap plants

to keep me busy.

Got my first 2 mantis babies yesterday, and I am a complete newbie to this

and need to start doing some reading up.

Hey, I am new here, so I'm stupid, what does "L" followed by a number mean?

Does it have to do with how many times it has molted?

oh I'm sorry...I assumed you're a girl (dang wouldn't have been so nice if i knew u were a guy :lol: - and to assume = make an ###### out of u and me).

New is not stupid, stupid is whoever doesn't ask...and yes L followed by a number is the number of moults. L1 is at hatching, after 1 moult L2 etc...

the ######## is another word for donkey, first 3 letters of assume

Hi I see you like Creo's too

I only have one, and he is very fiesty and moves really fast.

He is also a little glutton, he can really pack in the ff's!!

Have to feed him at least 6 ff's every day.
