Hi my name is Greg. 28. Originally from Miami Florida and now living in north Georgia. As a kid I was always fascinated by the mantis religiosa which we had an abundance of in our yard. And they weren't shy about being active in the day at all. I would also spot gonatista grisea from time to time mostly clinging on to the palm trees in our yard. Never knew the common name of this species then. We just called them Everglades bugs or everglades mantises. Now that I'm living in north Georgia I see tenodera aridifolia sinensis almost daily. My fascination with these beautiful creatures grows daily and I am excited to have found this site.
