Hello all,

My name is John, and reside in Rocklin CA. I work with a large number of inverts, especially tarantulas, but currently only have one juvenile female Hymenopus coronatus who I think will have to find a mate for soon. I hope to get more into the mantis hobby in the near future and will appreciate any help along the way!

Hey likewise!I do have some now, too many to count infact lol. I keep mainly old world species but do also keep a few from the new world. You have got a pretty good starter species, I started off with a Heteroscodra maculata one of the worst to start off with lol didn't know better at the time. The Hymenopus coronatus is my first exotic mantis I've ever kept, but I have raised local nymphs before. And thanks I'm sure I'll be counting on you for advice.

haha really, wow, you must have a lot of T's then. would the grammostola pulchripes be considered to be from the new world? did the heteroscodra live the approximate lifespan? iave had stagmomantis limbata, tenodera sinensis and angustipennis, phyllocrania paradoxa, parasphendale agrionina, popa spurca, blepharopsis mendica and idolomantis diabolica. and youre welcome :p
