Howdy folks. Just found this forum, so I had to sign up! I kept mantids as a kid in Canada, then later in Los Angeles (all species caught locally). They have always fascinated me, and I remember going through that National Geographic article over and over showing that, at the time, unidentified "orchid mantis". Seems it's well known now. Hopefully I'll maybe get one.
