Hello from Texas

Hello my name is Jared Garcia I'm 26 years old and from Texas. I'm a Pre-vet student in college. I'm a huge reptile fan and keeper. I have 1 male Kinyongia chameleon named cloud.1 female ball python named Theadora and 1 female Kenyan sand boa named Glenda. As well my mammals 1 chocolate lab named Sherlock. 2 Scottish terriers white male named Astro and 1 black male named Maddox. 1 cat we rescued from outside the runt that would of died in a wild batch. We bottled raised him from about 1 week. His name is dexter.

I'm really interested in getting into the mantis world cause they are both amazing and beautiful creatures. I've never owned any but I'm hoping here I can get my foot in the door and Jump into this new fascinating world.

I got interested in mantids after photographing some in Texas in October 2010.

Thanks everybody. Think I'm gonna start with some ghost mantis for starters then attempt to get my hands on some of the more exotic breeds once I get the housing down. Fly culturing is cake. Those mantis that are pink and look like flowers are amazing looking!
