Hi, everyone! :) I'm new to MantidForum, but certainly not to mantids! :D

I have kept and observed insects and native mantis' ever since I was little (Chinese, probably, right?). Recently, I have introduced myself to many other remarkable species and studied specific species more closely. (Those Orchids and Ghosts sure are gorgeous, aren't they? :tt1: )

At the moment, I have an ootheca of a native species. (I saw it being laid in our garden. Amazing!)

I am now wanting to keep more exotic species of mantids, and am very excited to develop my hobby. MantidForum seems like a very supportive community full of fun, interesting, and helpful people - I can't wait to get to know you all! :D

Un-mantis related information: I'm getting 1-3 colonies of honeybees in the spring (Italians or Carniolans). I'm very excited!

I kept Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches for many years.
