In my search for a new hobby I came across the interesting subject of mantis care. I do not actually have a mantis to my name, and am interested to learn all I can about the subject before I even consider taking it up. I'm eager to learn all I can, and look forward to all the insight I can get.

Welcome. Almost all mantids are easy to care for and breed. Mantids do not live very long. Mantids live about 1 year.

i recommend Phyllocrania paradoxa Ghosts are pretty simple and very cool looking. people who dont like bugs tend to be facinated by them. they are so cool to hold and also pretty easy to come by

Welcome! mantis keeping is a lot like painting or playing the tuba in that you can read all you like, but the sooner you plunge in and start doing it, the better!
