Hi everyone!

Wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm a mature student (30 yrs old!) reading Biomedical Science.

I have been interested in keeping mantids for a while now and shall be getting my first either over Christmas or in January. I think I would like a species which can be kept communally, though the orchid mantis is also a strong contender!

I'm sure I'll have some questions over the next few weeks and I'll enjoying looking at any pics and care sheets available to make my choice even harder lol

Anna: Welcome to the Mantid Forum. I am sure you will find it very interesting and helpful. I have a suggestion for you. Tammy Wolfe has an adundance of Phyllocrania paradoxa and she can make you are nice deal for some of these marvelous looking mantids. Check out her recent posting.
