Hello All,

I am new to the forum and relatively new to mantids- thank you for having me! I am working with creobroter pictipinnis right now and currently looking to find some hymenopus coronatus. I have spent quite some time exploring the forums and I cannot thank you all enough for sharing your hard-earned knowledge. Just a bit of info about myself- I work as a veterinary technician (small animals/reptiles) and used to breed crested geckoes and various ball python morphs. So nice to be surrounded by a bunch of fellow mantid enthusiasts!

Glad to see you already found Peter's website, just be careful as it can become addicting. Besides Peter's site, the other recommended sites are MantisPlace, and MantisPets. Also depending on what members have listed, the forums classified section has some great buys too (see the feedback section about the sellers too).

Welcome! I'm hoping to get some orchids some time in the future, do your research on who and where you buy from though, a bad first experience almost put me off buying bugs online. CosbyArt is right on with the sites he recommended, and I also have gotten a pet from Mantis Monarch who is also on here, very helpful and quick to email back and he's expecting some orchids to hatch in a few months, I recommend you follow him on facebook. Good luck, it's hard to stop collecting once you start.
