HELP MOLTING EMERGENCY

I was readying to ship my sub budwing and placed him into a smaller cage. Just then I noticed he was molting. He was completely out and still wet with no room to expand his wings. I quickly placed him into a larger container but he was still too limp to grab on. Luckily I had paper towel on the top so he was able to just barely hold on. he's still wet and has enough room to expand his wings, but with the trauma........will he expand his body and wings properly?
