One of my l2 or l3 orchids just molted on the ground while i was at work! (it was in the tank i put a strip of paper towle in so she could climb up just in case she fell during moltin! :( )one of his sibling also molted but did it the right way. is there a chance she fell and finished molting on the ground? the skin is on the ground with the legs facing down and the back facing straigt up, like she just climbed right out! She is just sitting a few inches away from it on the side of the tank.....kinda seems to be okay... looks good... i guess. Should i be as worried as i feel right now? She looks ok but she def dryed out on the side of the tank instead of upside down. i went to work about 9 hrs ago so i think its to late to try and prop her on the roof of the tank. ps. srry guys but i got no camera good enough to take a picture of this.pps there were a couple of fruit flys in the tank at the time, could this have had any thing to do with it? the other mantis that molted today also had fruitflys but molted like a sane minded mantis. srry for the long post , thx in advance.

I think they'll be fine. A lot of my mantises molted while not hanging upsidedown.. and didn't or couldn't hang itself upsidedown after molting. They seem to be fine.

thanks alot for the speedy reply ill sleep a little better tonight and worry a little less while i wait for her to feed again, heres hoping for the best :D !
