Hestiasula brunneriana ooth

Recieved a Hestiasula brunneriana ooth today, and the ooth is real tatty, heres some pics, i cant tell if its already hatched or not

It should hatch in a week.

While it looks a little more ratty than what mine looked like I don't believe it has hatch because the center where the nymphs emerge looks ok.

It still hasnt hatched this week either, so my impatience got the best of me and i looked inside the ooth a tiny bit further to find this.

Now if that was ment to hatch last week i would think the ova inside would be far more developed that this, so by the looks of it its friggin infertile <_<

Ah sorry about the ooth.

This is late but as Rick said the center piece is displaced if there is any sign the ootheca of this species has hatched before. See pic below

Well it seems the ooth didnt hatch then it just wasnt going to :angry:

Nah i got it from a trade here in the UK, but it wasnt bred by the trader, apparantly it was originally from a well respected member. This wasnt on this forum either. Thanks for the offer Tier but i cant afford anything at the moment :lol:

I think I got one from the same place as you morph and was told it would hatch in a week also, anyway, waited over a month longer than that to see just ten weak nymphs hatch that didnt last longer than a week at most Id never cut up an ooth like that though, your only on a quest for dissapointment eitherway when you look inside :blink:

There are ways to do it without losing more than one row of eggs.

Well ive been chatting with the dealer and he thinks its also infertile, well at least im getting some Creobotra`s as a replacement :lol:

If its gemmatus and they are adults or ooths, Its the other half of my trade :lol: (what I gave him, unles ha hatched an ooth and is letting you have nymphs)
