A very healthy, new species to the hobby, from Tanzania, so keep warm. None at all hatched badly, and all are finally eating Aphids on day four. Does not drink mist/dry. Try? I am taking a pricing cue from someone who also has a very unusual mantis species offered, and am listing them at $4 each plus your choice of shipping, Express or Overnight recommended this time of year. Quantity discount available! The only information I could find online about this new species

is a drawing, made perhaps by Describer Beier in 1963, adult male, located the 46th image down at: http://mantids.de/3.html Looks like a fairly large species, ooth sold me as the "Big Brown Mantis" - the drawing is of Heterochaeta occidentalis... No info at all on H. reticulata, so until I have an adult male and can compare to the drawing, H. occidentalis it is!
