Hello fellow mantis lovers. My name is Heather and I'm from the Central coast of California. I am a stay at home mom with 3 boys under the age of 6, 2 budgies birds, 2 dogs, a cat, and a mother in law. 
I have always loved praying mantis since I can remember and have had many as pets from the wild but just recently ordered my first ootheca. We are hatched and now I'm in the thick of it. My mantises are Chinese L4-L5, I believe. I didn't realize how much work it'd be taking care of so many but I'm making it happen!
