Hi there! My name's Caroline. I'm fifteen and I live in the northern area of Virginia.
I began raising mantises earlier this summer and kind of got into it. :3 Never really been a big fan of insects, but mantises are different imo.
Anyway, after making a horrible mistake with my mantises (I placed a newly-caught male in with my pregnant and just-laid females... he tried to attack the pregnant one) I decided to do more research on raising them and came across this forum. :3
I'm not sure what kind of mantises these are, but they're pretty common around here. Caught them all in my backyard; in total my brothers and I have around six or seven, eight now with the addition of Mr. Bean.
