Hi, my name is Ryan, a 21 year old university student living in Calgary, AB, Canada. I currently study biology.
I am new to the mantid-keeping hobby, in fact you can argue that I haven't even begun yet! I'm currently looking at information of available species, trying to make the most informed decision. I'm not new to keeping arthropods in general, as I have kept species of scorpion (Babycurus jacksoni & Hadrurus arizonensis) for the last couple of years.
Praying mantids however, have always interested me and I am very excited to have the opportunity to keep some. I look forward to getting the opportunity to get to know most of you and feed off your knowledge! I'm also looking for breeders in Western Canada to buy some nymphs off of in the next couple of months. I'm hoping you're out there!
