Ohio is in some ways the mantis mecca in terms of taxonomic study, vendor history, & lit.

It probably doesn't feel that way.

I had the opportunity yesterday to take a close look at the collection of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History yesterday which holds one of the most massive mantis collections in the world. I probably shouldn't admit on mantidforum I was only checking out the Heteroptera holdings.
